The Air Force Thunderbirds take to a gloomy sky to entertain a crowd at the Sun n’ Fun Fly In, held every year in Lakeland, Florida. This is their “Mirror” trick.

I’ve been to air shows since then, but it’s been a lot of years since I saw the Thunderbirds last. They and the Blue Angels are pretty much the gold standard for this sort of flying. Amazing to watch. And a great capture of a high-speed target too!

I love airshows. The Thunderbirds are great to watch. Such precision. We have a team here in Canada called the Snowbirds. Right now they are practicing near us in Comox. Each year they give a demonstration show for free to thank the community for allowing them to “borrow” their skies. – Margy
